First frames

First Light

I was still very much a phone photographer.

Then I held an actual camera for the first time.

It was a Lumix GH4, and these were among the very first pictures I took.

The phone days

Training the Eye

These aren't recent.

I took and edited these a while back, back when I was deep in phone photography, playing with text overlays, color grading, getting obsessed with how things looked.

I didn't know it then, but I was training my eye.

Fast forward to now, most of what I do is video. And honestly? Everything I learned in those photography days lives in every frame I edit today.

So if you're somewhere in the middle of something right now, not sure if it's "leading anywhere", it is. You're just not at the part of the story where it makes sense yet.
